Eight new fish and seafood restaurants to try in Paris

THE FIGARO SELECTION – Fish, shellfish and crustaceans continue to inspire dedicated restaurants in the capital, around trays, small plates or beautiful pieces to share. Statement of nets from the latest arrivals.

The most “feel good”: THE QUEEN’S NECKLACE

The place. In what used to be the Nanashi Charlot, as trendy as possible, the Savoir Vivre team (Hôtel Bourbon, Déviant, Vivant 2) set up this wine and seafood bar as lively as an oyster taken out of the water. The pop decor has given way to a clever mix of design seventies and classic, making the place a glamorous and punchy contemporary brasserie. Inevitably the “have you seen me” of all kinds are out but the atmosphere remains pleasant.

The plate. Stars of the place, the seafood platters come in three sizes and go up in floor according to the choice. In the Prince, ideal to share for two as an appetizer: 12 oysters, whelks (super mayo with tarragon), an octopus carpaccio and 6 pulsed mussels with peppers. The rest of the menu is very dynamic: white asparagus and miso sabayon; poached eggs on toast with a white butter sauce; grilled white tuna, new onions, olives…
