It all started with Dalton Hurd from USA and Ayrton De Craene from Belgium. We began creating exclusive WordPress themes together to sell and split profit in 2008. After doing this for quite a while, we decided to invest both of our skillsets in a website called WPmonk, in which we sold a couple themes. It was hastily put together, and we didn’t feel comfortable advertising it. So after a long break we eventually decided to go back to the idea, and take our time to develop something worth creating themes for and supporting. Thus Monkify was resurrected from the ashes.
